Recipes

Refried Beans

1 onion diced
3 c. dry pinto beans (soaked over night)
1/2 hot pepper
2 TBSP garlic
5 tsp salt
1 3/4 tsp black pepper
1/8 tsp chili powder
9 c. water

Place all into slow cooker and cook on high 8 hrs adding more water as needed.

Once beans have cooked, strain them and reserve liquid. 
Mash beans, adding reserved liquid as needed.




Cheesy Beans

1 C. Pinto Beans
1 C. Kidney Beans
1 C. Butter Beans
1 C. Navy Beans
1 Onion chopped
6 slices of Bacon cooked
3/4 C. Brown sugar
1 tsp. worcestershire sauce
10 oz. Sharp Cheddar shredded

Soak and Boil Beans until tender.  Combine rest of ingredients and bake at 350`F for 1 1/2 hrs.
